This is the country’s largest, rather Asia’s largest Franchise Expo and was held in Pragati Maidan, New Delhi on 11th & 12th October, 2014. The aspiring franchisees who attended it, could evaluate and compare over 500 exhibitors – the various franchisor brands – present under one roof and thus, find the right match for them.
Furthermore there were 3 parallel conferences held, on ‘Licensing’, ‘Entrepreneurship’ & ‘Franchising’. All the various people considering to buy a franchise, the various franchisors willing to take up new franchisees on board and in fact, the entire industry was present at the exhibition.
SHEMROCK & SHEMFORD Group of Schools registered an Impressive Presence
Our presence at stall numbers – 76, 77 & 111, was strongly noticed and appreciated by several aspiring franchisees. Our team in yellow Chhota Bheem T-shirts stood, out among all the 500 exhibitors in the expo. There were people from all over the country to meet us and see if the SHEMROCK & SHEMFORD Schools offer was the right match for them.
We displayed various items which helped them evaluate our offerings as per their requirements. With Preschool, Primary and10+2 School Franchise offers, we offered different packages starting from 6 Lakhs onwards and mutually discussed the issues of each prospective franchisee to help them decide which one made sense for them. We also had “first time” offers for bookings done on the stall.
In addition, we did a Lucky draw at our stall and gave away a holiday package worth Rs. 15,000, which our visitors had the chance to win, by just dropping their visiting cards. Being the most popular event in the country for those considering a franchise, no wonder, our stalls were visited by more than 30,000 people.
Mr. Amol Arora Spoke as a Panelist in the Entrepreneurship Summit
Mr. Amol Arora, the Vice Chairman & Managing Director of SHEMFORD & SHEMROCK Group of Schools, was a part of an Expert Speakers’ panel and spoke in a 60 minute long session, on “Building a Sustainable Education Business” in the ‘Entrepreneurship Summit’ held on 11th October, 2014.
Being a visionary person with a multi-dimensional personality, Mr. Amol Arora is the prime force behind building the SHEMROCK brand on the strength of its franchise model and in transferring the same stress-free and fun-filled learning environment to SHEMFORD.
As a tribute to his contribution to the education fraternity in India, the Independent Schools Federation of India nominated Mr. Amol Arora as the Chairman of the National Conference of Independent Schools – a network of 850 private schools of India. He has also been felicitated as the “Young Entrepreneur of the Year 2006” Award by the Lt Governor of Delhi. In the same year, the Independent Schools Federation of India conferred upon him, an Award for his “Outstanding Contribution to the Indian Education System”.
